Dear wenrou,

I was shocked and speechless when I learned about your passing. Tears just would not stop coming down for days. I felt so alone to grieve about losing you here by myself across the globe.

I recalled all the good times and tough times we shared in Boston. And how bossy and pushy I was to make my friends become yours when you went back to Taiwan.  Although we kept infrequent contacts throughout the years, I am glad and proud that you allowed me to be part of your life. You have a brave soul. You shine with strengths and grace. It is painful to let you go, and yet the only comfort that I have is knowing that you no longer suffer. May you rest in peace.
